Project Brief:
The client ReMode Clothing needed a new website and portfolio. The goal was to showcase her creative, unique and sustainable designs while easily being able to manage a small inventory of products.
The original website build using Wix and it was on an old theme that was not SEO friendly, Google Core Web Vitals Compliant and was expensive to maintain while being difficult to edit. Further it wasn’t great on mobile.
We opted to redesign the website from the ground up.
Since the ReMode Clothing site has under 1000 SKUs we chose WordPress with WooCommerce Plugin for the shopping cart and to mange the products. This gave us a lot of flexibility for the design and ease of use when uploading products, pictures and creating content. The new WP Theme we picked was decades ahead of the older one. It’s responsive on mobile with a great user experience and very easy to navigate. It also gave us the ability to optimize the site using Yoast SEO and a several other plugins making it SEO, ADA and Core Web Vitals friendly.
*Note the PageSpeed Performance metrics is in the Top 15% of fastest sites even at a 68 score! This is jumping from a previous site score of 15. This is a result of heavy imagery, added tracking scripts (GA, GTM, AdWords, etc.). Also note the site is now has a 100 for SEO, 100 for Best Practices, and 97 for Accessibility (ADA)! All coming from failing scores.

Reclaimed Brand Name
With the new site ReMode Clothing was able to retake their brand name and the #1 position in Google for it as a few other similarly named business popped up. They also increase their keyword rankings and volume to over 700 SERPs boosting website traffic and visibility.
